Mr Beverley G Kelly, now retired has had a career in Chemistry, Training and Personell and has been involved in church work most of his life

He became a Christian in 1977 which transformed his life.

Beverley led a very large Sunday School and organised an annual Holiday club for over 300 children for many years.

He was a founder member of AEC and has been administrator since it’s foundation.

Our Pastor

Our founding, part-time pastor is Mr. Geoff Farnell, a Yorkshire man and his wife Judy. They have 3 married children.
Geoff became a Christian in his teens, which was a tremendous turning point in his life, and he has been serving the Lord ever since. He has had leadership roles in several churches and has been pastor of two other churches.
His job as a Health and Safety Consultant on the International scene, gave a broad experience of life and a practical understanding of the relevance of the Christian message to everyday life.
Geoff retired in 2005 and now can commit all his energies to the pastorate of AEC.

Treasurer

Mr Steve Fazakerley



Steve has been our treasurer for the last 9 years or so. During that time he has also served the church as a trustee. More recently he has also added Sunday school teacher to his list of service to the church.

All this is a far cry from the 23 years Steve served in the army, seeing active service in Northern Ireland and the Falklands war.

He came to know Christ as his personal saviour shortly before he left the army. This decision greatly changed his outlook and altered the priorities for his life as he planned for the future outside the British army.

Today Steve works for the NHS as a specialist rehabilitation engineer travelling large areas of the north west, helping people to have greater independence and freedom through the equipment he installs and programs.

Together with his wife Lynda and two children Christopher and Erin they all seek to serve the Lord Jesus and to know Him better.
